Well interestingly enough, it seems that the number is sitting at a rather lowly 10%, at least according to a new survey. This corroborates another survey from September which revealed that around 11% of customers polled would buy an Apple Watch. The latest survey polled customers from across the US, UK, India, and China.
Based on their findings, it seems that about 1 in 10 users are “very likely” to purchase the Apple Watch. While 10% might not necessarily sound like a very big figure, UBS analyst Steven Milunovich has predicted that this could result in Apple selling about 24 million Apple Watches in 2015 and might even see the Cupertino company rake in as much as $3.4 billion in gross profit.
The survey also polled customers on potential smartwatch purchases and found that customers were looking forward to getting their hands on the Samsung Gear watch – 37% in fact, while 25% were holding out for the Apple Watch. What say you? Which wearable do you have your eye on?
