lumia-735-verizon-fccA couple of months ago, Microsoft unveiled the Lumia 735. The handset was expected to make its way to Verizon but later rumors hinted that it might only arrive in 2015. That being said, could it be possible that the device will launch sooner than we think? Well according to reports, the Lumia 735 has been recently spotted at the FCC with Verizon’s bands on board.

What does this mean? Well for starters it would mean that the device is one step closer to being officially available in the US market. However at the end of the day, we guess it also boils down to Verizon’s plans and when they want to start making it available. Now before you get your hopes up, it is possible that the rumors of a 2015 launch could still hold true.

So if you are in the market for a relatively low-end Windows Phone handset, you could either wait for the handset to be officially announced, or you could just look around for alternatives, which there are a couple out there, although not all of them might support Verizon’s LTE network so that’s something to take note of.

In the meantime as a quick recap for those who might have missed the news, the Lumia 735 will feature a 4.7-inch 720p HD display. It will come with a 5MP front-facing camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor on board, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, and a 2,200mAh battery.
