A couple of days ago, Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed Unity, but unfortunately for gamers, it looks like the game has been hit with some performance issues. These performance issues don’t seem to be exclusive to a particular platform and has affected those playing on the console version as well as the PC version.
Some of the problems include glitches as well as massive framerate drops, which safe to say isn’t very encouraging. Well the good news is that Ubisoft has since acknowledged the problem and is “furiously working to resolve bugs and performance issues for Assassin’s Creed Unity on all platforms,” according to them.
Some of the upcoming fixes are expected to address problems like the character Arno falling through the ground, game crashing when joining a co-op session, character getting stuck in hay carts, and delay in accessing the main menu at the game start. Ubisoft has also mentioned that future fixes will looking framerate issues, graphical and collision issues, matchmaking co-op issues, and Helix Credit issues.
No word on when exactly we can expect the updates to be released, but for the sake of gamers, hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. In the meantime gamers can check the Ubisoft website where they will be keeping gamers apprised of the situation and update status.
