The day many Game of Thrones fans had been waiting for has just been confirmed. Telltale Games confirmed the release date for the first episode of the Game of Thrones title it has developed. This episodic adaptation of the popular HBO series has been divided into six episodes, with the first one called Iron From Ice, that’s going to land on PC, consoles as well as smartphones and tablets from next month.
As recently as last week Telltale had confirmed that the first episode will be premiering soon. Today it has finally come out and revealed the exact release dates for the first episode of Game of Thrones.
Gamers in the U.S. will be able to download the first episode from December 2nd, whereas those based in Europe will get it the next day. On December 4th the game will be released for iOS. On December 9th it will become available for PlayStation 3 in both North America and Europe. Telltale Games has said that it will reveal the Android dates for December in the near future.
The Game of Thrones title from Telltale allows gamers to play from five different perspectives within House Forrester, though they will have interactions with popular characters from the series, like Tyrion and Cersei Lannister, performed by the actors from the HBO series.
