Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens Named

Are you stoked yet that there will be a new Star Wars movie to continue from where the happy ending left off in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi? If you answered in the affirmative, you would definitely be happy as a wookie seeing his best friend emerge alive from a scathing dogfight in space against the Imperial forces. Apparently, the title for the upcoming Star Wars VII movie would be The Force Awakens. Wait a minute here – does this mean that the Force has been asleep all this while? What were the Jedi Masters and Sith tapping into then, if the Force was asleep?

I suppose one ought not to take the title in a literal sense here, and we also know that principle filming for the upcoming movie has just wrapped up. It was leaked earlier this year that The Force Awakens will begin with the image of a disembodied hand grasping a lightsaber, as it floats through the coldness of space before making its way onto a desert planet. Wait a minute here – is the hand some sort of extremely rare biological or techno-organic material that does not burn up upon re-entry? I suppose I will just have to wait for the movie to be released before being seen to be too critical of it. After all, movies are meant to be fun, and an escape from reality once in a while is always a good thing.
