If you have been meaning to get your hands on the latest Nexus smartphone, no matter where you get it from, then mark November 14th in your calendar. That’s when the Sprint Nexus 6 will be released. It had already been confirmed that all four major U.S. carriers will sell this device since it is expensive enough to warrant a subsidy or equipment installment plan. Sprint confirmed today that it will start selling the Nexus 6 starting Friday.
The device will be available for purchase through Sprint’s participating retail locations across the country. It is unclear which locations will have the device in stock and precisely how much inventory will be available. We have already seen how T-Mobile expects to have very limited inventory available when it launches the Nexus 6 and starts selling them through its stores.
Interested customers can pick up the Nexus 6 on Sprint Easy Pay for $0 down, plus tax, and 24 equal monthly payments of $29. A service plan is also required. It will have support for the Sprint Spark LTE network. Alternatively customers can pay $696 upfront if they don’t want to pay off installments for two years.
The Nexus 6 is a powerful device built by Motorola. It packs a 6-inch Quad HD display, 13 megapixel rear camera and much more. It is also the first smartphone that ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed.
