Sony has been doing pretty well for itself when it comes to the Xperia range of smartphones, and their latest flagship device, the Xperia Z3, is one tough cookie – having been cooked in a burger and then surviving, grease and all. Well, word on the street has it that Sony could already be working on its upcoming flagship model, which would be the Xperia Z4. This would be rather surprising to those who have just picked up an Xperia Z3 not too long ago. Not only that, rumors have pointed to the direction of the Z4 range to boast of the Xperia Z4 flagship smartphone, the Z4 Compact, a Z4 Ultra phablet as well as a Z4 Tablet
Phew! It would certainly sound as though there are plenty of Z4 devices to look forward to in the near future, assuming everything that has leaked out do carry the truth. With the Sony Xperia Z4, it is said to feature Qi wireless charging capability, and it will also boast of a microUSB port which is capable of surviving the presence of being dunked without having to close it with a flap for protection.
As for the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact, it ought to retain the 4.6” display, although do expect the screen resolution to be bumped up to Full HD alongside better performing innards. Chances are, both of the Z handsets will feature a similar chipset. As with all rumors out there, only time will be the judge.
