While it looks like issues concerning the PS4 Update 2.0 have yet to cease fully, here we are with word that Sony intends to introduce its latest PS4 2.02 firmware update, where this would then make it the second of such a patch which has been specially designed in order for one to remedy problems that have been associated with the heartbreaking 2.00 update.
The entire file would weigh in at 217MB over in the U.K., where it is widely expected that there will be a roll out in North America as well in due time. In fact, in the wee hours of Tuesday, the PlayStation Twitter account did mention that the update is coming “soon” for all users. There has been no detailed patch notes revealed concerning the 2.02 firmware update, although Sony did make mention that the new system software will be able to offer an improvement in terms of stability when it comes to the use of features, games, and apps.
This comes after Sony has introduced system update 2.01 less than a week ago in an effort to patch up a critical bug that results in a Sony PS4 console crashing whenever it enters Rest Mode. Have you given your Sony PS4 the latest update yet?
