It has been a little over 12 hours ago since World of Warcraft’s fifth expansion Warlords of Draenor was released, but according to the folks at Eurogamer, it seems that a quick “/who 100” command has revealed that there are multiple level 100 gamers in the game already. For those unfamiliar with the latest expansion, it raises the level cap from 90 to 100.
Given that it’s been less than a day since the expansion was released, safe to say that many gamers have indeed been hard at work in hitting the level cap so quickly. Is this a bad thing? Well if your goal is to hit level 100 and start looking at end game content, then no we guess that’s perfectly fine.
However if you’d rather enjoy the story line and the quests, then perhaps taking your time might not be a bad way to soak in the lore and the new areas that Blizzard has carefully crafted out for gamers. In some way it is actually quite surprising how gamers managed to hit 100 so fast, especially given that there were probably hundreds, if not thousands, of gamers all vying to complete the same quests at once.
Eurogamer claims that some of these gamers have been practicing the leveling routes since the beta which explains why they might be so efficient, while others turned to completing dailies in other parts of the world where it might be less populated in order to gain experience quickly.
