Each year Samsung releases a plethora of new devices. Some are refreshed models of its existing product lines whereas others are entirely new products. For example this year Samsung launched the Galaxy Alpha as well as the Galaxy A series, two new product lines that made their debut in 2014. Looks like there’s more on the cards from the Korean juggernaut. Rumor has it that it will soon unveil a new series of smartphones.
The rumor comes from Sammobile, which is usually reliable, and it claims that this new series of smartphone will following the naming convention laid down by the Galaxy A series.
You see, Samsung’s product names have always been so easy to remember, for example it has released smartphones named Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch and it has even used words that aren’t exactly classy, like Ace, Young, Core and Mega. With the Galaxy A series the company changed that, a single alphabet and a single number differentiate the devices in this lineup.
That’s precisely the trend the company is rumored to follow with its new series. There’s not much known about this new series at this point in time but I suspect we will be hearing about it in the very near future.
Samsung is expected to shake up its mobile business in the coming year as it battles declining profits. The company is even rumored to be approaching the Galaxy S6 with a completely new vision.
