We have seen Bluetooth game controllers for smartphones in the past, where those free up space on the touchscreen so that you will not have your thumbs block what is shown on the display. Well, here is another offering for those who tend to get more of their portable gaming kicks on a tablet compared to a dedicated portable game console like the Sony PS Vita or the Nintendo 3DS, which comes in the form of the Ramos i9s Game Edition.
Certainly it will not be able to compare with high end gaming tablets such as the NVIDIA Shield Tablet, since the Ramos i9s Game Edition is not going to break the bank, but it does have decent specifications for a mid-range tablet performance. For instance, it will feature an 8.9” IPS display at 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, running on a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F Bay Trail processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB of internal memory.
Underneath the hood lies a 5MP camera at the back, stereo speakers for your aural enjoyment, a micro HDMI output, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, all of it running on Android 4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice. Apart from that, it will also be accompanied by a Bluetooth game controller and a stand. The asking price? Approximately $255 a pop.
