Pipo happens to hail from China, and they do have their fair share of tablets that do not pass the $200 mark. However, with pen support thrown into the mix for the Pipo W5, you can be sure that this is something special and different. As for its hardware specifications, the Pipo W5 will feature an 8” touchscreen display that is accompanied by support for pressure-sensitive writing or drawing using a digital pen, in addition to an Intel Atom Bay Trail processor. Over in China, it is tipped to retail for under the $150 mark after conversion, although if one were to ship it over to other continents, it ought to cost a wee bit more.
Other hardware specifications of the Pipo W5 include an Intel Atom Z3735G quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution count. Anyone interested?
