So you’re huge fan of football. You watch all the games whenever you can, you check up on news regarding your favorite team and players, you have a couple of jerseys of your favorite team and player, basically you’re a fan. Well if you’re looking to show off your fandom in another way, how does a football skin themed Moto X sound to you?
Now we know that the Moto X is available in a variety of different backings, ranging from plastic, to wood, and leather. According to the good folks at Phandroid, it seems that they have been tipped off that a Moto X with a football skin backing is pegged for a release in the near future, which you can see in the image above.
It certainly lends a unique look to the phone and might be great for those who are huge football fans or for those who might want a little extra grip. No word on pricing with regards to this texture option, but assuming it is priced the same as the current leather options, users will have to fork out an additional $25 on top of the phone’s price to get it.
Also no word on whether it will be available to all users, but the tipster who sent in the photo to Phandroid mentioned that phone in the photo was Verizon’s model, so it is unclear if we are looking at Verizon exclusive or if it could arrive on other carriers as well, but in the meantime what do you guys think? Any football fans out there eager to get their hands on it?
