Not too long ago Verizon unveiled the Droid Turbo. This smartphone is manufactured by Motorola and in the U.S. it is exclusive to Big Red. There were rumors that an international version with a different branding will be released in select markets and they were absolutely true. Motorola unveiled it as the Moto Maxx but unfortunately it won’t be making its way to European markets.
Soon after the Moto Maxx was unveiled it went on sale in Brazil. The company also confirmed that this smartphone will be sold in Mexico as well as other Latin American countries.
Those who were hoping that it will find its way to Europe will now have to look elsewhere. A tweet from the official account of Motorola France reveals that the Moto Maxx isn’t going to be released in the country, or in any European country for that matter.
No reason has been provided as to why this device is being kept away from customers in European markets. Those who are really itching to get their hands on one will either have to locate an unlocked version that is capable of working on carriers in their country, or simply give up their dreams of owning a Moto Maxx.
