Moto 360 may have made it clear to us that round smartwatches look really pretty but the LG G Watch R took it to a whole new level with its display, which happens to be the world’s first full circle P-OLED display. AT&T had previously said that it would be carrying this wearable device but it didn’t reveal when the device will be released or what it will cost. That information has been made public today.
AT&T has confirmed today when the LG G Watch R is going to be made available to its customers and just who much it will cost them to acquire one.
The LG G Watch R is going to cost $299.99 on the carrier and it will be available for purchase both online and through AT&T’s retail stores on November 7th, 2014.
It may cost slightly more than other Android Wear smartwatches available in the market right now but that’s the price customers will have to pay for the P-OLED display. The LG G Watch R will be compatible with any Android 4.3 or higher device to which it will hook up to using Bluetooth.
It remains to be seen how the reaction will be from customers. LG already has an Android Wear smartwatch in its lineup, this is the second, the biggest selling point of which is undoubtedly the circular display.
