The handset will be priced at $0 down and users can expect to make 20 monthly payments, although US Cellular did not mention how much those monthly repayments will cost. That being said given that AT&T has priced it at close to $400 if customers were to buy it right out, we reckon it shouldn’t cost too much.
However for those who don’t mind signing a contract with US Cellular, the Kyocera Duraforce can be yours for $99 with a new two-year contract with the carrier. In terms of hardware specs, the handset will come with a 4.5-inch display with a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor under the hood.
It will be accompanied by 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 8MP/2MP rear/front-facing cameras, a 3,100mAh battery, and dual front speakers. The handset has also been IP68 certified meaning that it will be able to withstand dust and water immersion up to 6 feet for up to 30 minutes. So, any takers?
