This new app, according to JLR, will be controlled by “one of the most advanced voice recognition packages in the world” from early next year onward, and is the result of a brand new tie-up with Silicon Valley-based technology company known as Cloud Car. This particular deal was first announced on the eve of the Los Angeles motor show, and the justDrive app will see action in any Jaguar or Land Rover model that has been outfitted with the company’s most recent inControl Apps system.
Expect this particular app to play nice with the iOS 8 as well as Android-powered devices without a hitch. The justDrive app lays claim to its ability to integrate multiple apps into a single, voice-activated in-car function for owners, and some of the integrated services would include Spotify, Twitter and Yelp. Between all the car brands mentioned, which do you think you would settle for in the long run?
