I guess that one of the major issues that people might find Google Voice to have would be the missing feature of MMS whenever one carries out a conversation with Verizon subscribers. Then again, there is also the school of thought that no one can really fully rely on Google Voice for all of their messaging needs, even if there were numerous other mobile carriers that have hopped aboard the bandwagon. It is then nice to know that the issue has been “solved”, so to speak, as Google Voice is said to officially support MMS where Verizon customers are concerned.
Hence, it should not be any issue from now on to share more than just simple text messaging over Google Voice with Verizon subscribers, as Google has also worked on introducing native MMS photo support for just about anyone and everyone who decides to make use of Voice in Hangouts. In other words, recipients are able to check out the images sent over in-line of the text message conversation rather than having to click on a link, which is something that can end up to be pretty cumbersome.
So far, it does not look as though this particular upgrade has arrived on everyone’s handset just yet, so please be patient about it as all good things will come in due time.
