Google Fiber Pricing For Austin Revealed

Google has just let the world in on its residential pricing plans in Austin, Texas, where they intend to roll out Gigabit Internet next month. The asking price? Google has set a $70 price tag each month, where local users would then be able to enjoy 100 times faster Web speeds, and theoretically speaking, up to 1,000 Mbps upload and download speeds, in addition to 1TB of Google cloud storage. Not only that, there will be a waiver for the $300 construction fee with a one-year commitment.

If you happen to be on the lookout for the entire Google Fiber experience, there will be a Gigabit-plus-TV service that will cost you $130 for the entire month. Subscribers will be able to enjoy similar perks that have already been mentioned, although there will be another 150-plus channels more and the ability to record up to eight shows – simultaneously, now how about that? This would place it close to be on par with that of Kansas City, which is the first region to enjoy Google’s gigabit service. Residents there would fork out 120 for the Internet-and-TV package in that part of the country.
