Galaxy Note Edge FCC Sighting Hints At US Cellular Launch

When Samsung announced the Galaxy Note Edge, they also revealed that the device was more of a proof-of-concept and that it would be a limited device. We’re guessing Samsung was just testing the waters and didn’t think that many customers would be willing to drop money for such a device.

That being said if you like what you see and think that the Galaxy Note Edge has its uses, you might be interested to learn that US Cellular will be carrying the device, or at least that’s what a recent sighting at the FCC seems to suggest. This is according the model number SM-N915R4. Presumably this is US Cellular’s version of the handset, especially since the Galaxy S5 for US Cellular ended with a “R4” suffix as well.

Assuming that the device launches on US Cellular, it will join the ranks of Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint, all of whom also offer the Galaxy Note Edge. For those who forgot, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will feature a 5.6-inch QHD display. What makes the device so unique is that the right side of the display is curved and acts as a secondary display where additional menu functions and features can be accessed.

No word on when it will launch on US Cellular or how much it will cost, but we will be on the lookout for it and will update you guys accordingly.
