Well according to a recent post on Nokia’s blog, it seems that come 11th of November we can look forward to Microsoft making an official announcement. The post was accompanied by a teaser photo pictured above which seems to show off the front facing camera and an orange band around the phone, hinting at one of its possible colors.
It is unclear as to what Microsoft will officially call the device, but as it stands it has been given the model number RM 1090, assuming we are talking about the same phone, of course. If we are, then recently leaked specs should be able to clue us in as to what we might be able to expect. For starters the phone is said to sport a 5-inch HD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor under the hood clocked at 1.2GHz.
It is also rumored to be accompanied by 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a VGA front-facing camera, and a 1,900mAh battery. Not the most impressive Windows Phone handset we’ve seen, but considering it will be the first Microsoft-branded Windows Phone device, it certainly marks a milestone in the company’s history.
