This means there is no more need to rely on third party alternatives, including the likes of CloudSix, although it might be some time before the official Dropbox app for Windows Phone is made available to the masses. What we do have to play with at the moment is a confirmation that the app itself is well on its way, but it is said to arrive “in the coming months”. Hopefully a fixed date would be forthcoming sooner rather than later, but this assurance is definitely a good sign of things to come.
