Blizzard Working On Diablo-Themed Heroes Of The Storm Map

So a few days ago, Blizzard announced some changes they would be making to their MOBA Heroes of the Storm. They would be adding some new heroes in the form of Thrall, Jaina, and the Lost Vikings, as well as adding a couple of new maps. Two of the completed maps includes Sky Temple and Tomb of the Spider Queen, but it looks like Blizzard has one more map that should appeal to Diablo 3 gamers.

On the official Heroes of the Storm blog, Blizzard revealed that they were working on a Diablo-theme battleground. This battlegrounds is not yet complete and is still in its planning stage, but as you can see in the image above, Blizzard has provided us with a rough idea of what we can expect, and boy does it look good!

According to Blizzard, “We know a lot of players have also been eager to see us bring worlds from classic Blizzard games to the Nexus, and we wanted to share an early glimpse at one of our initial concepts for an upcoming Diablo-Themed Battleground, which pits the legions of the High Heavens versus the forces of the Burning Hells!”

For those who played Diablo 3, you will easily recognize this as Act IV in the game where gamers have to ascend to the heavens, which have been corrupted in some places, in order to seek out Diablo and kill him. The art is very similar to the Diablo 3 map, but then again we guess that is to be expected. Of course the finished version might look very different, but so far we like what we see, but what say you?
