AT&T is going to start selling the Moto 360 smartwatch soon and its giving customers a reason to pick up this wearable device from the carrier by offering a $50 discount on the price provided that a second generation Moto X unit is purchased also. This brings the Moto 360 price on AT&T down to $199, when it is bundled with the purchase of a new second generation Moto X.
It will also be possible to purchase the smartwatch without picking up the smartphone, in that case the customers will have to pay $249 for the smartwatch on AT&T.
With its circular 1.56-inch LCD touchscreen display the Moto 360 is often regarded as one of the best looking smartwatches to hit the market this year. It has 4GB of onboard storage and is powered by Android Wear.
While on the face of it the $50 deal appears to be enticing keep in mind that switching over from another carrier to AT&T in order to pick up the second generation Moto X is probably going to cost a lot more than the extra $50 you would pay on the Moto 360 device. But it does make sense for existing AT&T subscribers or those who are looking to switch anyway. This offer is valid for a limited time.
AT&T will start selling the Moto 360 smartwatch on November 7th.
