All of the hype surrounding Assassin’s Creed Unity has more or less settled, what with the highly anticipated title having been released over here in the US. However, it is rather surprising to hear that many of those who have picked up a copy of this game have taken to the Internet to share their frustrations concerning the performance of the game – and to make matters even more difficult, it does not matter whether it is Assassin’s Creed Unity running on the Sony PS4, or on the Xbox One or on the PC – all of them happen to seemingly suffer from performance related issues.
Some folks do claim that there are glitching problems, pop-in, and massive frame-rate drops in the PS4 version, which are complaints common on the PS4 sub-Reddit. Apart from that, those who are getting their console gaming kicks in with the Xbox One also do seem to run into several technical issues. As for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed Unit, it does scale well with high-end PCs, although the earlier mentioned issues do seem to crop up regularly on less powerful machines – and this means those who play with the minimum system requirements. Hopefully all of the above mentioned issues can be fixed through a patch, although Ubisoft has not mentioned about such a patch just yet.
