The video was transcribed by a source of 9to5Mac in which Ahrendts was quoted as saying, “We’re going into the holidays, we’ll go into Chinese New Year, and then we’ve got a new watch launch coming in the spring.” No specific dates or months were mentioned in the video and transcription, but at least now we have a rough timeframe to look forward to.
Of course all of this is subject to change if something last minute pops up, or if Ahrendts was simply giving a rough timeframe, but then again being in her position, you would think that she would know when the Apple Watch will be seeing a launch. So far not many details about the Apple Watch is known.
We have heard that it will be a strong possibility that the Apple Watch will have a battery that will last a day, which is admittedly a bit disappointing. We also recently heard of how the watch will be able to wake up its user, and how it will handle Apple Pay transactions. We also know how much it will cost in terms of the base model, but as to the other versions, it still remains a mystery.
