We reported earlier this week when it was discovered that Apple quietly stopped selling any and all Fitbit products through its online store. Previously the company’s online store could be used for purchasing products such as the Fitbit Flex, but not anymore though. But as it turns out the company’s brick and mortar stores across the country are still selling these products and it is not known for sure exactly when they’ll stop carrying products from Fitbit.
These are not the only fitness related devices that are being sold through Apple’s stores. Apart from Fitbit One and Fitbit Flex, the company’s retail stores are also selling the likes of Jawbone Up, Mio Alpha and the Wahoo Tickr.
Folks at AppleInsider inquired about the availability of Fitbit products from employees at Apple stores but they didn’t know about the company’s plans with regards to these products, so it can not be determined right now for how long the stores will continue to sell these products.
It is interesting to note that the new line of fitness trackers recently unveiled by Fitbit have not made their way to Apple stores, and it is unlikely that they will, seeing how the company is evidently moving away from Fitbit products.
