For those who have been using computers for a long time, chances are you might have at one point in time used Microsoft’s Windows 95 operating system. What made Windows 95 so memorable was the fact that the Start Menu was first introduced in the operating system and subsequently brought back to future builds of Windows.
In fact there was a lot of fuss when Microsoft tried to remove it with Windows 8 and many had petitioned Microsoft to bring it back, which they are planning to in the upcoming Windows 10. That being said if you’re looking to relive the Windows 95 experience, you might be interested to learn that one user has managed to load the operating system onto his Samsung Gear Live smartwatch.
While this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Windows running on Android devices, there is something novel about having Windows 95 shrunken down and operational via our wrists. However it does not look like an ideal experience as the video above shows that it does not run very smoothly, but like we said the novelty value is definitely there.
In any case if you have a minute or two to spare, you can check out the video above where you can check out Windows 95 in action on the Samsung Gear Live smartwatch. Pretty cool, huh?
