Basically, there are already some 1,700 Walmart stores around the country which has kicked off sales of pre-loved video games – which is a move that some say could endanger the position of GameStop in the market. Ah well, this is an open economy, so many the best company win – fair and square, of course.
Apart from that, Walmart also made an announcement that they will begin to sell this year’s edition of Call of Duty, Advanced Warfare, at 12.01 a.m. on “day zero” this coming November 3rd – and potential gamers need not even have to place a pre-order for this particular title, now how cool is that? Apart from that, any other trade-ins that are made on November 3rd and November 4th (which happen to be Advanced Warfare’s launch days) will result in another 50% additional credit upon purchase of Call of Duty.
