It has been a very long time since Twitter last released an update for its Mac application. Today it has pushed out a new update though and its available for download right away from the Mac App Store. The new update brings several features to the application and users you go with the app instead of just accessing Twitter via the browser will no doubt appreciate the app’s new features.
One simple feature that has been added to Twitter for Mac is the ability to tweet multiple pictures in one go. Previously the app only allowed users to attach one photo to one tweet. Mobile apps and the web version were limited to this behaviour a long time back and have since been updated with support for tweeting multiple pictures.
Fortunately the Twitter for Mac app finally gets this ability today. However as on other platforms users will only be able to share up to four photos in one single tweet. The app now lets users share photos via DM as well, this feature was made available on mobile apps and the web late last year.
Apart from these new features the app comes with the usual slew of performance improvements and bug fixes. It is live now and available for download via the Mac App Store.
