Today Google finally unveiled its brand new smartphone built in collaboration with Motorola. The Nexus 6 will be available for pre-order through the Google Play Store later this month. It will also be available from all major carriers in the country and T-Mobile has become the first to confirm when its subscribers will be able to get their hands on one. The T-Mobile Nexus 6 release is going to take place on November 12th.
The Nexus 6 will be added to T-Mobile’s lineup on November 12th, 2014. It will be available for $0 down and no the carrier’s equipment installment plan subscribers will have to pay $27.08 for 24 months to cover the cost of this device.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, the smartphone has a 3,220mAh battery and supports Turbo Charging which provides up to six hours of additional battery life on just 15 minutes of charging.
Nexus 6 ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed. It will receive an over-the-air update from T-Mobile early next year which will enable Wi-Fi unleashed, a feature from T-Mobile that will make it the first Nexus device ever to support Wi-Fi calling.
Other carriers have not confirmed their release dates and pricing as yet but it shouldn’t take long before they make the announcements as well.
