Sonos is a brand known for their speakers and their multi-room audio systems, meaning that you could place multiple speakers in different rooms and have them all play the same music at once, ultimately piping music to all areas of your home. Sounds good, doesn’t it? However depending on the design of your home, there are some places with dead spots either due to corners or walls in the way.

Well the good news is that if you were a little annoyed by this, Sonos has recently announced the Sonos Boost. This is a high-powered signal amplifier that according to the company, will be able to extend the range of the Sonos network by as much as 50%, which will hopefully be enough to cover your dead spots.

The Sonos Boost will connect to your router which at the same time will provide users with a gateway to the internet as well as access to storage devices you might have setup in your home network. The Boost will also come with three internal antenna that will apparently “help neutralize interference from other consumer electronics that might typically cause dropouts.”

The Sonos Boost is priced at $99 and is available via Sonos’ website, so head on over to check it out.
