Another day, another new smartphone is announced, and this time around it would be the Oppo N3 that has been revealed to the masses. The Oppo N3 intends to continue where its predecessor, the Oppo N1, has left off, arriving with a swiveling camera in lieu of a couple of separate cameras – which is the usual modus operandi for most handsets out there, with their front as well as rear facing shooters.
Underneath the hood, the Oppo N3 will run on a quad-core 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor which will be accompanied by 2GB RAM, while the display has seen a reduction in size at 5.5”, as opposed to the far larger 5.9” display that was found on the Oppo N1. This new handset will still carry with it a 1080p resolution alongside a pixel density of 400PPI. As for its camera resolution, that too, has received an increase to 16-megapixels.
However, on the downside, some sacrifices needed to be made, and it was the battery that “suffered” this time around with a 3,000mAh battery. It will offer support for Oppo’s VOOC technology however, which allows one to juice up the handset to 75% of its battery capacity in a matter of just 30 minuets, now how about that? At least we do know it does come with a fingerprint scanner to boot, and if it is priced correctly, the Oppo N3 is going to be quite a best seller IMHO.
