According to PhoneArena, they have been tipped off that the update will indeed be arriving for Nexus devices this 3rd of November, and just like the earlier rumors, it seems that the initial rollout of Android 5.0 Lollipop will be targeted at Google’s WiFi-only Nexus devices, which includes the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10.
As for Google’s other Nexus devices like the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, and the LTE version of the Nexus 7, those are expected to be updated later on in the month of November, although there are still no specific dates that have been mentioned yet. The Android 5.0 update is expected to introduce a host of new changes and improvements as well as Google’s new Material Design language.
In the meantime if you’re looking to try a little bit of Android 5.0 Lollipop, you will be able to download the keyboard from Android 5.0 that features the new Material Design language. The keyboard will not require a rooted device, unlike from before, so you can go ahead and check it out if you were a little worried about the installation being a bit too technical for your liking.
