The problem with smartwatches these days is that their battery life isn’t that good. Granted smartwatches are still relatively new technology and we guess there’s still quite a bit of work left to be done. Now last we heard, the Moto 360 had been given an update which improved its battery life.
From the reports we’ve heard, this was a much welcome update. Well the good news is that if you’re after more battery improvements, Motorola has recently announced another updated in which battery efficiency will be improved even more. This comes in the form of a smart battery saving mode which detects when you smartwatch has hit 15% battery levels.
When it detects that it has, the Moto 360 will turn off ambient mode to help conserve its battery eve further. Apart from improvements made to power efficiency, the update will introduce more accurate time, mood lighting when charging, as well as general bug fixes which will hopefully make the watch even better to use.
Motorola will be rolling out the update in phases so do keep an eye on your watch as it will prompt you that you are ready to install the latest update. If you have received the update, do let us know below if you are noticing even greater improvements to its battery life!
