It wasn’t too long ago that the BlackBerry Passport was released to the masses, which means that if BlackBerry’s roadmap for 2014 is accurate, we still have at least one more device to look forward to before the end of the year – the BlackBerry Classic. Now the phone has been pegged for a release in November, but in the meantime new photos of the handset have surfaced (via CrackBerry).
The photos don’t really tell us anything new, although in all fairness everything about the device is more or less known to BlackBerry fans. However they do afford us with some new images of what the handset will look like, so if you’re still on the fence regarding whether you should get the new BlackBerry Passport or the Classic, hopefully these photos will help with that decision.
The Classic has truly been designed to look like old school BlackBerry phones. In fact if we didn’t know any better, we would have thought it was the Bold 9900 or some other BlackBerry handset still running on OS 7. It does look pretty sleek and unlike the Passport, features a more traditional design.
The Classic is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 2GB of RAM, a 720×720 display, and will feature the toolbelt of keys above the QWERTY keyboard that long-time BlackBerry users are probably familiar with. So what say you, will it be the BlackBerry Passport or the Classic?
