It seems that Motorola and Verizon are having a tough time keeping the Motorola Droid Turbo under wraps. We’ve seen leaked press renders and now thanks to a newly leaked photo, an image of the handset in the flesh has surfaced. Unfortunately it doesn’t tell us anything new or shows us anything we didn’t already know, but it provides a more “realistic” look compared to the cleaner looks found in the render.
That being said, it seems that the Droid Turbo will share some design concepts with the Moto X and to a certain extent, the Nexus 6 as well. While the specs of the handset have yet to be confirmed, the rumors are suggesting that the phone is quite the powerhouse.
For starters it seems that we can expect the Motorola Droid Turbo to pack a QHD display, similar to the resolution found on the Nexus 6. It will also be accompanied by 3GB of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset under the hood, and will come with 32GB of onboard storage. It is also rumored to pack a massive 3,900mAh battery.
To top things off, as the name suggests, the phone will support fast charging thanks to Qualcomm’s technology and the Motorola Turbo Charger that will help facilitate this speedy charging. In any case come 28th October, all will be revealed so do check back with us then for the official details.
