You might have heard chatter over the past couple of weeks that Verizon will soon be unveiling new device that will be a part of its Droid lineup. According to countless reports this smartphone will be called Droid Turbo primarily because rapid charging is going to be one of its main features. We have seen few renders of this device being leaked but now a full press render has been leaked online giving us our best look yet at the next Droid handset.
This render has been leaked online by @evleaks who you all might remember as the prolific Twitter leaker. He did go into retirement earlier this year but came back recently, first leaking the Nexus 6 and now giving us a good glimpse at Verizon’s Droid Turbo in both Red and Black.
Like other devices in Verizon’s Droid lineup the Turbo will be manufactured by Motorola exclusively for Big Red. Under the hood we expect it to tout a Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory. A Quad HD display is also rumored. The cherry on top is likely to be a simply massive 3,900mAh battery.
If these specifications are anything to go by then it would seem that this device is certainly going to be an Android powerhouse. No word as yet if it’ll ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop pre-installed or just Android 4.4.4. Rumor has it that Verizon is going to unveil the Droid Turbo on October 28th.
