Moto X (2014) Makes Its Way Onto US Cellular

If you’ve had your eye on the new Moto X from Motorola, you might be interested to learn that the handset has been launched on US Cellular. Granted this isn’t one of the major carriers, but if you’re already a customer of US Cellular or if it provides you with a better deal or coverage, then perhaps it could be worth your consideration.

The handset will be priced at $99.99 with a new two-year contract with the carrier. Granted it was released on other carriers last month, but we suppose better late than never. US Cellular will also be selling the phone contract-free where it is priced at $480 which is admittedly somewhat affordable.

Unfortunately it seems that for now, only the standard plastic model is available from US Cellular. However the carrier has reassured its users that the bamboo and leather models will be arriving later this month where you can tack on another $50 to get that customization option, so we guess you guys won’t have to wait too long.

As a quick refresher of the specs, the Moto X (2014) will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD 1080p display. It will be powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 2,300mAh battery, and will run on Android 4.4. KitKat.
