Of course, the tech giant did manage to bring home a net income of $4.5 billion from a revenue of $23.2 billion, which is still a whole lot of dough when you think about it. Still, this net income is lower than the $5.24 billion it picked up during the corresponding period last year, which can be attributed to $1.14 billion worth of restructuring expenses that occurred from the company’s acquisition of Nokia.
At least there is an increase of the number of Lumia smartphones sold in this quarter, which goes to show that the world is slowly embracing Windows Phone willingly.
