With everyone making such a fuss about the Moto 360 and its circular face, which was a nice change of pace compared to the more square/rectangular faces, it wasn’t surprising that other companies were quick to hop on board that bandwagon. Now while LG has released the LG G Watch, they recently took the wraps off the round version called the LG G Watch R.
Now the question is when can we expect the watch to go on sale? After all we can only assume that many are looking forward to getting their hands on the device, right? Well the good news is that according to multiple reports out of Korea, it seems that the LG G Watch R will be going on sale on the 14th of October.
Unfortunately it seems that for now, the LG G Watch R will see an initial release in South Korea where it will be priced around $332. This is more expensive than the LG G Watch which has been priced at $250, but we suppose that’s the price one might be willing to pay for design.
Presumably LG will eventually bring the LG G Watch R stateside and to other markets eventually, but for now it looks like it could be an exclusive to South Korea. Either way we will keep our eyes peeled for more information, so do check back with us at a later date for the details.
