HP 10 Plus Android Tablet Quietly Announced

hp 10 plusHP is a company known for their computers and printers, although they have been dabbling in mobile devices like tablets. Interestingly enough it seems that recently the company has launched the HP 10 Plus tablet without much fanfare. In fact the only reason that it was brought to light was because of a product page on HP’s website.

The tablet is priced at $280 and is available for purchase either via HP’s website or Amazon, with either channel pricing it similarly, so it really comes down to personal preference. That being said, what kind of specs might we be able to expect from HP’s latest Android tablet and for $280?

Well for starters it will feature a 10.1-inch Full HD display. It will be powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1GHz and will be accompanied by 2GB of DDR3L RAM. It will come with 16GB of onboard storage but for those who don’t find it sufficient, there will also be an accompanying microSD card slot.

It will feature the usual connectivity options such as 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a decently sized 7,700mAh battery. Not exactly the most compelling tablet, but for $280 it isn’t overly expensive either.
