It looks as though getting the moniker of the world’s thinnest device, be it a smartphone or a tablet, is a target that some companies aspire to. For instance, when Dell first revealed the Venue 8 7000 Series in the month of September, it was not unreasonable to claim that it is the thinnest tablet in the market, although Apple themselves made certain that they would have a similar stake to lay claim to such a title when it comes to their recently released 6.1mm iPad Air 2. Chinese manufacturer Hisense also wants to jump into the fray with their Android-powered VIDAA PAD F5281.
The Hisense VIDAA PAD F5281 will feature stereo speakers, which will be accompanied by a microUSB port, a microSD memory card slot, cameras located in the front and at the back, as well as a headset jack. Depending on your preference, you will be able to pick fro grey, brown, gold, and red colors.
Apart from that, there does not seem to be any official hardware specifications listed for this particular tablet, so when it comes to the likes of the display type and technology, processor used, as well as other aspects of the hardware, only time will reveal more. Would you purchase a tablet like this for starters?
