About two weeks ago, Halfbrick Studios released a massive update for Fruit Ninja. The game has been around for quite a while now and has been one of the quintessential games that gamers new to touchscreen devices had to play back in the day, so safe to the say the new update is a welcome change.
However it looks like the game has received yet another update, and this time it is in the form of a Halloween-themed Fruit Ninja that will feature some Ghostbusters items. According to Halfbrick, “Fruit Ninja is celebrating 30 years of Ghostbusters with a spectacular Halloween event! The entire crew has been kitted out with Proton Packs, Ecto Goggles and legendary Ghostbusters equipment, ready to tackle a spooky new adventure.”
The game has been updated and will introduce a new theme to the overall game, a new blade that will allow users to destroy all fruit by slicing an “X” on their screen, and a new dojo that will feature a ghost trap that when sliced will unleash a bunch of fruit.
The update is a free update so if you’re a fan of Ghostbusters, Fruit Ninja, or just want to experience the new content, you can head on over to the iTunes App Store or the Google Play Store for the download. In the meantime you can check out what you might be able to expect in the update in the video above.
