This is according to Blog of Mobile who claims to have discovered the tablet’s release timeframe in a Dell voucher, although no specific dates were mentioned, but an early November launch is to be expected. It was also not mentioned as to which markets the tablet will be released in, but it seems to have been priced in USD at $499, so perhaps the US will be one of the markets the tablet will be available in.
Either way we will be keeping our eyes peeled for more information. In the meantime as a quick recap for those who might have missed out on the announcement, the Dell Venue 8 7000 tablet is a tablet with relatively decent hardware. It will sport an 8.4-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1600, effectively giving it a pixel density of around 359ppi.
It will be powered by an Intel Atom Z3500 processor with a PowerVR G640 GPU. The tablet will also be accompanied by 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, and will come with Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. What do you guys think? Will you be waiting for the Venue 8 7000 or will you go with Google’s Nexus 9 instead?
