For some odd reason, Candy Crush is considered to be one of the most popular mobile games in the world. In fact last we heard, the developers of the game were raking in over $600,000 a day which is more money than most of us see in a few years. That being said if you’re a little tired of playing Candy Crush Saga, you might be interested to learn that King has launched Candy Crush Soda Saga on Facebook.
The game is meant to be a sister game to the Candy Crush Saga title. The game has been in testing for a while now but we guess it is finally ready for prime time as King has decided to release it on Facebook for the masses. There have been reports that Candy Crush Saga has showed signs of decline, which we guess is expected.
After all games like Angry Birds which was one extremely popular has started to show signs of slowing down, so just like Angry Birds, King needs a new title to help revitalize its franchise. According to Sebastian Knutsson, the chief creative officer at King, “Candy Crush Soda Saga offers fans new gameplay features and challenges to delight in, and has been designed to complement the original title, which we believe players will also continue to enjoy.” If you’d like to check the game out, head on over to its Facebook page for the details.
