Bing Update Enables Easier Animated GIF Search
The folks over at Microsoft did update their Bing image search engine not too long ago, and earlier this week, there was also a new update that allowed users to actually run search queries through Bing using emoji in lieu of words, which is a novelty, really, although there are some moments where being able to do so might just come in handy, especially in the instant messaging generation, don’t you think so? Well, a brand new feature has been introduced to Bing today, where it allows users to be able to perform a search for animated GIFs in an easier manner.
This brand new update will allow you to click on the “Type” filter that is located below the search bar, where you can then choose “Animated GIF”, and the page will then refresh itself in order to display the animated GIFs only. With that, one is able to hover over the image so that it can play the GIF automatically. Apart from that, there is no issue when it comes to filtering one’s queries in order to hunt down related animated GIFs.
In addition, any kind of search result retuned which happens to be an animated GIF will carry the “GIF” badge on its bottom left corner, making it a whole lot easier for you to easily identify the search results.
