Thinking about picking up Assassin’s Creed Unity for the PC? Well why not? We suppose there are gamers out there who might prefer gaming on the PC versus the console, but the question is, can your PC handle it? Ubisoft has recently announced the PC specs for the upcoming game and revealed both minimum and recommended specs.
With the game pegged for a release on the 11th of November, we guess gamers still have some time to upgrade their rigs in the event that they don’t meet said requirements. That being said, Ubisoft is requiring users to run 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1. They are also asking for a minimum Intel Core i5-2500K @ 3.3GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0GHz or an AMD Phenom II X4 940 @ 3.0GHz for processor type/speed.
A minimum of 6GB of RAM is required along with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon HD 7970 with 2GB of RAM. However Ubisoft also notes that the laptop version of these GPUs could work, but will not be officially supported at launch. The game will also require users to have 50GB of hard disk space available for installation.
As for recommended specs, Ubisoft is recommending na Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.4GHz or an AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0GHz or better. Recommended RAM would be at 8GB and as for GPUs, Ubisoft recommends an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 or an AMD Radeon R9 290X with at least 3GB of VRAM. We have to admit that those are some pretty demanding specs, so hopefully your rig will be able to handle it!
