In the past, many would lambast Samsung at their attempts to copy the design of Apple’s iPhone. However fast forward to today, many companies are starting to follow suit where we have seen blatant ripoffs all over the place, and if a recently leaked photo is to be believed, it looks like Lenovo wants in on it as well.
According to a series of photos posted on Weibo (via PhoneArena), it shows off a Lenovo device alleged known as the Lenovo Sisley. It is apparently an upcoming Lenovo smartphone and as you can see in the image above, your first thought could be, “Is Apple making a pink iPhone?”
The design of the Sisley certainly looks like it borrowed liberally from the iPhone 6’s design, what with the curved and rounded edges, the speaker and microphone grills positioned and designed the way they are, not to mention what appears to be an ugly antenna break that is also found on the iPhone 6.
Of course it is possible that the image is a fake and that someone with decent Photoshop skills took their time to craft this bogus photo, but assuming that it is real, what do you guys think? Yay or nay for Lenovo potentially copying the iPhone’s design?
