ZTE Blade Vec 4G, 3G, Kis 3 Max Handsets Unveiled At IFA 2014

When it comes to affordable handsets, ZTE is a brand whose name comes to mind. The Chinese company has released plenty of smartphones in the past and for the most part, they tend to be pretty affordable with decent specs. That being said, ZTE has taken the wraps off two new handsets at IFA 2014.

These handsets are the ZTE Blade Vec 4G and the ZTE Kis 3 Max. Starting with the Blade Vec 4G, the phone will come with a 5-inch 1280×720 HD display. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset under the hood with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The handset will also feature a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a 2,300mAh battery with Android 4.4 KitKat preinstalled.

There is also a 3G version of the Blade Vec and apart from the difference in connectivity, the 3G variant will come with a MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It will only come with 8GB of onboard storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and that’s pretty much where the differences end.

Next up is the ZTE Kis 3 Max. This is not a high-end smartphone so it will most likely cater to those shopping on a budget. It will sport a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and will be powered by a MediaTek dual-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. There will be 512MB of RAM accompanying it with 4GB of onboard storage, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, and will come with ANdroid 4.4.2 preinstalled.

Pricing and availability has yet to be determined but according to ZTE, the Blade Vec 4G has already been launched in Turkey, France, Romania, Slovakia, Belgium, Norway and Sweden.
